Dr. Stephanie Chan
Psychiatrist and Co-Founder
Dr. Stephanie Chan is a double board-certified child/adolescent and adult psychiatrist. She empathically listens and thoroughly assesses from biological, psychological, social, and cultural lenses, for the most accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. She believes strongly that the success of treatment comes from collaboration between provider and patient, emphasizing on open communication and psychoeducation throughout the treatment process. Her approach involves various therapy modalities (including CBT, DBT-informed, mindfulness), medication management when appropriate, or a combination of both.
In addition to being trained in management of various mood and anxiety disorders like depression, bipolar, generalized anxiety, her specializations include young/early career adults, women’s mental health (incl. perinatal, post-partum), childhood mood and anxiety disorders, and trauma/PTSD.
Dr. Chan is the current Medical Director of KYCC outpatient substance use clinic, and volunteer faculty at Harbor-UCLA supervising child psychiatry fellows. She was the Chief Medical Director of LifeStance Health-California, and Medical Director of Crossroads Institute. Her extensive experiences in various sectors will help you get the best care you deserve.
Dr. Eugene Kimn
Psychiatrist and Co-Founder
Dr. Eugene Kimn is dedicated to compassionate, thoughtful, and collaborative patient care for all ages, genders, orientations, and cultures. He believes the best care can be provided when viewing the client from a combination of biological, psychological, social, and cultural perspectives. It is his goal to have the client / family come out of session feeling they have been heard and their opinions valued.
While experienced working with individuals with different needs and backgrounds, Dr. Kimn has a special interest in minority mental health, depression and anxiety disorders, and trauma for children, teens, and young adults. He utilizes a combination of approaches, including therapy, mindfulness, and medication when needed.
Dr. Kimn obtained his undergraduate degree at Duke University and medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed his Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry training at the University of Southern California. He completed his Addiction Psychiatry training at the UCLA-San Fernando Valley / Cedars Sinai.
Leonie Capulong
Office Manager
Leonie is Resilience Mental Health’s Office Manager and the primary point of contact for scheduling, intake screenings, and any questions regarding our patient portal. Behind the scenes, Leonie handles all insurance and billing matters, including insurance verification and claims follow-up, so our patients can focus on their wellness rather than paperwork. Whether you need help navigating your records or understanding your billing statement, Leonie is here to provide clear and supportive guidance.
